We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Mauricio, our tour coordinator, for organizing such a wonderful and memorable Costa Rica experience. The entire tour was exceptionally well planned from beginning to end, and we truly feel that we were able to experience some of the very best that Costa Rica has to offer.
The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and perfectly paced. We were able to see and experience so many beautiful places without ever feeling rushed or overwhelmed. We especially appreciated how the schedule balanced sightseeing and activities with enough downtime to relax and enjoy the beautiful resorts and hotels. That balance made the trip feel like a true vacation rather than simply moving from one activity to the next.
The local tours and guides Mauricio selected were also excellent—professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very well organized. We were particularly impressed with the WAVE and Iguana tour guides, who helped make our excursions even more enjoyable and memorable. The quality of the local partners throughout the trip really showed the care that went into planning our experience.
Mauricio was also wonderful about checking in with us throughout the journey. It was very reassuring to know that he was always available, attentive, and willing to accommodate our needs and requests. His communication, flexibility, and genuine concern for our experience made us feel very well taken care of from start to finish.
Overall, this was an excellent trip that exceeded our expectations. We came home with so many wonderful memories and a real appreciation for the beauty, nature, culture, and people of Costa Rica. Thank you, Mauricio, for all the thought, effort, and attention to detail you put into making our vacation so special. We truly enjoyed every part of it and would happily recommend Mauricio and his team to anyone planning a Costa Rica adventure!

Thanks to Mauricio from Huellas our trip to Costa Rica was an amazing experience! He planned and organized everything for us for 8 days, with each day filled with exciting tours and adventures. Our teenage daughters confessed it was the best trip for the past few years for them. We didn’t have a lot of days, so we picked just two places to explore: Arenal and Monteverde. Mauricio and Huellas Travel matched the accomodations and activities to suit us, our daughter and 7 and 10-year-old grandkids. Tours on rivers, hanging bridges and jeeps showed us terrific wildlife, including toucans, macaws, small crocodiles, and even an armadillo! Food was delicious and they took care of special allergies and provided excellent food for kids. Costa Rica is an amazing place to visit, and Mauricio and Huellas will help you every step of the way.

We are so grateful to Huellas Travel for organizing such a fun packed trip for our family of 11 to Costa Rica. From the beginning, Mauricio was very receptive to our interests and needs, attentive to details and always prompt to get back to us. One of the travelers with us has an allergy to nuts and he was able to help us navigate through that as well. In the end Mauricio put together a tailored made itinerary enjoyed by all of us.
Fabian, our guide and driver, was exceptional. The first thing he told us is Costa Rica is on Tiko time – the pace is slow, relaxed and laid back. He set the tone and from there we started our journey. Being the naturalist he was we learned a great deal about all the creatures we met along the way. He told us about the Costa Rica, the food and culture, the ancient ones. Fabian was attentive to our needs, interacted well with the kids and made our experience a memorable one.
For us, visiting Costa Rica was unlike any other place we have visited. The landscape and wildlife is truly beautiful, the people are very kind and helpful and Huellas Travel is top notch. Thank you for all your efforts.

I have taken “graduation” tours with each of my 3 grandchildren, whose interests included body surfing, horseback riding, canal floating, cloud forest hiking, and ocean snorkeling.
